Prof. Dr. Stephan Bingemer earned his PhD in Business Travel after studying Business Administration and then spent nine years at Deutsche Lufthansa AG optimizing passenger processes in Frankfurt, Paris, Düsseldorf, and Budapest. In 2015, he joined Heilbronn University as a research associate and later became Director of the Institute of Tourism, Travel & Hospitality. Since March 2020, he holds the title “Research Professor for the Future and Technology of Tourism.” At the same time, he founded the Tourism Futures Convention and the School of Applied Artificial Intelligence, and he regularly leads innovation training for the VDR.
